Services & Events

Worship Service takes place Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Services are lived streamed on YouTube and the church Facebook page.

Worship begins with quiet piano music and an air of contemplation. The service includes:

prayers for ourselves and the world
scripture readings from the Bible
a short talk called a sermon which guides us in applying the scripture to our own lives
songs called hymns which are sung by the congregation
a song by the church choir
a concluding prayer by the minister

Light Up the Holidays 2025!

Join us for our annual community Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long on Saturday, December 6, at 6:00 p.m! Our sing-a-long will feature familiar Christmas songs, hand-bell ringers and guest musicians. We will serve hot chocolate as folks brave the early winter air to Sample special treats offered by our local businesses and Santa visits the CRA to light the Christmas Tree. Longest Night Service in our Chapel

Friday, December 19th at 6:15

With music, scripture and candlelight, we will celebrate the beautiful truth that however dark or long the night may be, the light of Christ will come and shine again.

Our Chapel Service begins with singing led by Allen Livermore, followed by scripture and reflection from Pastor Jennifer. Chapel Service is offered most months on the 3rd or 4th Thursday with a casual social time and refreshments following. Check our calendar (above) for specific dates in the coming months. Our Chapel is located on the opposite side of the church from the Sanctuary. Parking and the entrance door can be found on the 1st church driveway after you pass the stoplight at Carson Avenue (if traveling south on Main Street). When facing the church from Main Street, this driveway is on the right-hand side of our property. All are welcome!

Haystacks & Snowflakes Annual Bazaar

Saturday, November 23, 2025, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Our annual bazaar features a Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Basket Raffles, Hand-crafted Items, and Holiday Items. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 1:30. The Green Gargoyle Gift & Thrift Shop & Bookstore offers quality clothing, household goods, decorations and books for every interest. Click here to view the poste r. The Community Thanksgiving Service, which rotates between area churches, will be held this year at Berkshire First Church of the Nazarene at 165 North Street, Dalton on Sunday, November 23, at 6:30 p.m. Any and all community members are welcome to attend!

“For Who’s to Judge?”

The Reverend Brent Damrow, pastor of First Congregational Church of Stockbridge, will return for a second evening of presentation and discussion of Paul’s letter to the Romans. His last presentation left those in attendance wanting to hear more. We will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a free and delicious soup supper followed by a little music. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. It is not necessary to have attended the first session.
Please bring a Bible. This event is sponsored by the ONA Committee.
