Worship Service takes place Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Services are lived streamed on the church Facebook page www.facebook.com/FirstCongoDalton .

Worship begins with quiet piano music and an air of contemplation. The service includes:

prayers for ourselves and the world
scripture readings from the Bible
a short talk called a sermon which guides us in applying the scripture to our own lives
songs called hymns which are sung by the congregation
a song by the church choir
a concluding prayer by the minister

On the 3rd Thursday of each month, we will offer a Chapel Service of Song & Story, beginning with singing, followed by scripture and reflection. A casual social time will follow. Check our calendar (above) for specific dates.
